Music for the Quartet’s current tour stolen from vehicle in Haarlem
Scores for up to 80 pieces of music were stolen from the Brodsky Quartet last night, from an unattended car. The theft took place in Haarlem, Holland, where the group is currently touring as part of their “Wheel of 4Tunes” anniversary celebrations.
The concerts on the tour include selections from a wide range of music, representing the quartet’s work over the last 40 years. The stolen scores include a number of original manuscripts and pieces written specially for the group. Also taken in the theft were the group’s concert dress and a laptop.
A reward of $500 has been offered for the return of the music. Anybody with information has been asked to contact music@justclassics.nl
