When I first saw this 5 String Violin, I thought it was just fancy and just an ordinary violin but with one more string. But when I played it for a couple months, I found out this violin does not just add a 5th string or can just be used like a viola -- it can also play a sound which a violin and viola can never play.
The wide range goes from low C to high 3 point C.
There are hundreds of sounds that have never been played by a violin or viola which can be played with this 5 string violin. We are surprised how no one has come up with this idea before.
When we were play in the church worship, we feel the melody is always too weak so we try very hard to add this new style EQ into it. we are using Passive Tune Control major, this new pick up kit doesn't require a 9Vbattery. I have one EQ in my guitar before and i could never can make that to work, but this one, I just plug into my AMP and immediately there is beautiful sound which is even smoother and can do more than a regular violin.
So I like to share this with all you guys, it doesn't matter if you are the pro or beginner, if the price is not too much and you can afford it, buy it! You may be the first person to have this rare instrument in in your town.
