This 2007 example, named "FIRE" is finished in a golden varnish with a rich and varied patina. Solid spruce top and flamed solid maple back and sides it is utterly captivating to look at. The back in particular has a multidimensional appearance and looks like its on fire. I've never seen anything like it.

The wood has aged for 12 years and thus the sound is powerful and beautiful with great clarity, enviable resonance and beautiful sustain. Ideal for mid to advancing students up to Grade 8+. One would have to spend 2-3 times the asking price to find a comparable old instrument so it represents great value for money. The clarity and projection is greatly superior to my £1000 c18 violin. As with all well made new instruments, the sound will continue to improve and refine with playing.

Fitted with the excellent Thomastik Vision strings and comes with a protective case with hydrometer and brazil wood bow with ebony frog + rosin is supplied.
