Yes, you read it right... Musicians love to steal/borrow/forget to return pencils, and we like to give away free pencils to promote CMUK!

It's a match made in heaven!

free pencils classical music uk Use the contact form below to request a load of our lovely little pencils, and we'll send them straight over to you (if you're in the UK). Here's what to tell us:

1) How many pencils you think you can 'lose' in a place that your colleagues might find them ;) (we think 10 for small offices, 30 for a freelance musician, or 100 for orchestras sounds about right... you can always ask for more!)

2) The address to send the pencils to (make sure it's a business address, otherwise we may ask you to pay for postage)

[Postage is completely free if you work for a music organization or are a regular professional freelance musician, and can help pass on pencils to your colleagues. If you just want the pencils for yourself, we'd be grateful if you could pay £1.50 P&P to cover the cost of postage - you can send it to us by Paypal]

So, now it's time to help yourself to some free pencils!:

April 2008:

Demand for our cute little pencils is massively outstripping supply, so we're ruthlessly prioritizing, and sending pencils only to...

1) People who can really reach musicians & musiclovers who need to know about CMUK but don't (use the first box, below)

2) people who write something so incredibly witty in the second box (below) that it makes us laugh out loud. If you do that, we'll send you pencils anyway.

We have re-ordered the pencils (several times over!) so if you have put in a request already, don't worry, we will eventually get to you (probably), but it might take another month or two. Pencils are slow like that.

PS The most likely way to succeed is to send your request from your work email address at a musical organization, AND send us a silly message..........

PPS Much as we appreciate the continued requests from the Ghana Police force and assorted American Mormons, please note that we can't send pencils outside of the UK at the moment (unless you send us lots of money first - see below)
