Hello and thank you for visiting, my name is Trudi Garth. If you want to learn the flute or Piano in the Rugby or Coventry/Warwickshire area then it doesn't matter if you have played the flute/Piano before or not, my 23 yrs performing and teaching experience will show you how to play and read music in no time. You can learn to play the Flute and Piano seriously and take exams or you can just play for fun. I am a member of the Musicians Union and can offer individual Lessons in the pupils own home or at my Coventry based Studio. This is strictly one to one private tuition which coupled with the determination to succeed delivers fast results. I do not teach groups of pupils as practised in the present state school system. FLUTE and PIANO lessons are also now based in the 'Unlock the Music' Studio room in Coventry. Bookings being taken now NOW for Rugby and Coventry. I have a 100% examination pass rate. I started playing the flute when I was 8 years old, attended Lawnside School in Great Malvern and studied at the Birmingham school of music under Bernard Herman (BBC northern dance band) and achieved grade 8 by 15 years old and advanced certificate shortly afterwards. I played with the Worcestershire \county youth orchestra, the Birmingham Youth Chamber orchestra and the Birmingham Youth Symphony orchestra. Won the Cheltenham Music Festival Woodwind section and other Music Festivals. Went on to teach in Schools and perform in the Uk and BritishForces schools in Germany.
I can offer students: 路 One to One tuition in the pupils own home. 路 Half hourly lessons (or one hour depending on age and standard) at competitive rates. 路 Time allowed for Aural and theory in each lesson. 路 Grades are worked towards although these are entirely optional. 路 Tuition from beginners to grade 8 and performance standard.
