Phi Lui Colab, 2007, from Liu Xi workshop - in new condition.

A very good hand made example with great projection, clarity, lovely resonance and beautiful sustain. Sound is typically rounded for a violin made from solid spruce top and flamed solid maple back and sides which has aged for 12 years. It is true that a new violin is as good in sound as an old one twice the price. The clarity and projection is far superior to my £1000 c18 violin by 2 or 3 times. Sound will continue to improve and refine with playing.

Suitable for beginners up to grade 8, above with further refinement. Fitted with the excellent Thomastik Vision strings and comes with black protective case (with hydrometer), brazilwood bow and rosin.
