Concert in the Square in aid of Leukaemia Research
Cwmbach Male Voice Choir
A ‘Concert in the Square’ in aid of blood cancer charity Leukaemia Research, will take place on 12th July in the beautiful Georgian St Peter's Church, Black Lion Lane, Hammersmith.
The programme will be headed by Cwmbach Male Voice Choir, one of the longest standing and best known choirs in Wales, and accompanied by tenor Marcel Scerri. International harpist Keziah Thomas will also perform as the choir sings a varied repertoire of both classical and modern music including several special arrangements for the night.
The event is in commemoration of the organiser’s father, Glanddu, who sang with Cwmbach Male Voice Choir, and cousin, Malcolm, who sadly, lost their lives to the disease. The concert aims to raise as much as possible to continue the superb work that Leukaemia Research does. The concert will begin at 7.30pm preceded by a champagne reception in the church gardens where concert goers will be entertained by a second harpist Margaret Watson from 6.30pm.
